The Maricopa Chapter of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment through its commitment to supporting the voice of Arizona women lawyers.

Arizona Supreme Court Vice Chief Justice Ann A. Scott Timmer will be presenting awards recognizing law firms that further the mission of AWLA through ways explained on their Award applications, or have 2 or more attorneys, 2 or more female attorneys, and all female attorneys in the firm are members of AWLA. Award recipients will be announced at the event.

In the past, the Chapter has bestowed the All In For Women award upon law firms with all of their female attorneys as members of our association, as explained above. This year, in honor of this important anniversary, AWLA is expanding this award to include recognition of those law firms that further the mission of AWLA in a variety of ways.

The mission of AWLA is to promote, and encourage the success of women lawyers throughout the State of Arizona.

Please note that this event is open to attorneys only: those attorneys (both AWLA members and non-members) from firms which applied for the All In For Women Award; and all other AWLA members.

Important notice about parking: There will be approximately 50 parking spaces available for this event, so we encourage you to car pool. Much of the parking around the University Club is for residents only. The Heard Museum parking across the street will NOT be available that evening.
