VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Vitalant Blood Drive Volunteer:

Vitalant offers three different volunteer opportunities to help with blood donation. Blood Drive Volunteers ensure assist blood donors during their blood donation experience. Transportation Volunteers travel across the service area transporting products to and from mobile blood drives, hospitals, and medical centers. Administrative Volunteers make phone calls, sort and file documents, assist in the mail room, pack supplies in the warehouse, and much more.

To apply, visit the Vitalant website here.

CASA Volunteers NEEDED

With nearly 9,000 children and youth currently in foster care across Arizona and only 1,200 active CASA volunteers, the need for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) has never been greater. CASAs play a crucial role by following a child throughout their foster care journey and advocating for their best interests. If fostering isn’t an option for you, becoming a CASA volunteer is another meaningful way to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.

Requirements: 21 years of age; US Citizen or legal resident; through background check; references checked and interview; 30 hours of pre-service training; availability for court appearances (with advanced notice); commitment to volunteer until your child’s case is closed.
