The Jodi Arias trial in the Maricopa County Superior Court is being hailed as the the trial of the year across the country. But high profile cases in the media are hardly new. The trials of Casey Anthony, Scott Peterson, O.J. Simpson and others all fascinated the nation. And good or bad, sensationalism is here to stay.
Ever wondered how a case like the Arias trial become one of the most watched and most discussed cases of our day? What really goes on behind the cameras? Monica Lindstrom, an attorney who comments on high profile cases nationally and locally, will address these questions and others, such as how the media gets in the courtroom, rules the “talking heads” have to follow, and ethical considerations that affect the commentators and players.
