Dr. Bollmann's passion lies in lifelong learning and the education of others. A graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Dr. Bollmann completed her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency in at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center/Phoenix VA (now University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, or UACOM-P). She subsequently served as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency program and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UACOM-P for 20 years, where she has written curriculum, served in directorship roles, and taught residents and medical students in a clinical setting. In 2011, she completed a Faculty Development fellowship, advancing her training in the education of new faculty. She was also an original contributing author for the national American College of Physicians' (ACP) High Value Care curriculum. Dr. Bollmann has received multiple awards for leadership, teaching and community service spanning her premedical career to her most recent honor as the recipient of the statewide ACP Volunteerism and Community Service of the Year award. Dr. Bollmann is an Alumnus Member of the prestigious national Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Bollmann completed a 2-year Integrative Medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Weil. In late 2018, she opened Vital Medicine for the Soul, a center for Integrative Medicine and Health. On a personal note, Dr. Bollmann grew up in a very holistic family. Her father and sister are physicians. She and her brother have explored the spiritual side of India. Her mother and grandmother taught her how to cook a Mediterranean diet before it was even popularized, and she has been practicing yoga since the age of 7.
