Emily T. Bashah, Psy.D. will teach participants how “impostor syndrome” can impact your competence, relationships with clients and your practice. Impostor syndrome has been defined as the idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck, and not because of your talent or qualifications. It is a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evident success. This event will be an interactive workshop and CLE presentation geared toward learning how to recognize and help combat impostor syndrome. Dr. Bashah is the owner of Bashah Psychological Services, PLC, which provides clinical, forensic and consulting services for various populations. Dr. Bashah presents training workshops for attorneys, first responders, mental and behavioral health organizations, universities, and other local, state and national organizations. She is approved to evaluate and provide therapy for the Arizona State Board of Nursing and Arizona Medical Board.
