Lisa Smith was a young lawyer in a major New York City firm when alcoholism and drug addiction took over her life. Fear of stigma led her to hide it from family, friends and co-workers until it nearly killed her. In treatment she was diagnosed with the underlying mental health condition of depression. Lisa will discuss her story and the need to smash the stigma surrounding both addiction and mental health issues.
